Last Friday I showed my husband some pictures of Christmas chalkboards & asked him to choose his favorite so I could start working on our Christmas mantel. We found a lot of pretty ones online & after debating between a few we finally chose this one – May Your Days be Merry & Bright.
I loved how it looked online but knowing my own skill level & the messiness of my handwriting I had very little hope of succeeding so I made no effort to take pictures along the way. I figured it would end in a disaster & that I would end up having to go to plan B for our mantel. I was however pleasantly surprised – even Roger couldn’t believe how well it turned out!
After I made our Christmas chalkboard I decided I wanted to share with you how I made it, so I decided to show you step by step on a smaller chalkboard. The best part part is that I learned that anyone can create beautiful chalkboard art – even those of us who have horrible handwriting!
