Going From Halloween Decor To Thanksgiving Decor In A Gobble
by

My basic fall decor stays the same from September through November. Leaves, pumpkins, acorns and other natural sort of stuff strewn about the house.
And then starting in late September, I start adding in some key Halloween pieces in among the leaves and such. Come November 1st at 12:01am (because by then I am sooo over Halloween), I just have to casually exchange the Halloween pieces for some Thanksgiving pieces and I'm all set for the next holiday.
Bye bye ghosties, Hello Tom turkeys! I wish decorating for Christmas was so easy!

Gobble, gobble!
BEFORE - ghosts made from mini gourds (these are so easy to make - just spray paint small gourds white, use markers to paint on faces and throw a piece of cheesecloth over them).
Come the stoke of midnight and Halloween is done and Thanksgiving comes to town.
These are vintage turkey salt and pepper shakers I found at the thrift store one day.
