DIY Rustic Place Setting

Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays and there's nothing I love more than an inviting space for family and friends to gather around. Personalize your table with these super easy DIY Rustic Place Settings!
Here are the supplies you'll need:
First step is to stain your piece of wood. I used Minwax's Dark Walnut.
I didn't bother sealing it since the majority of it was going to be covered with paper anyway.
My “B” was kind of a brassy color and I wanted it to be gold so I spray painted it :)
Glue your letter onto the kraft paper. I placed mine a little to the right so there was room for the feather and lavender.
Now take your feather and lavender and wrap some twine around the bottom to hold them together.
Place this on your wood where you want it to be and wrap the twine around a few times to secure it in place.
That’s it! Super easy right? We spend Thanksgiving with my father in law and usually keep things pretty casual, so I probably won’t be making more of these but I’m certainly going to keep it for future use! For now it’s still sitting on our small kitchen table because I love it too much to put it away. I guess I could make one for the hubs too so he doesn’t feel left out :)
