How can I beautify a soaking tub?

Woodbridge Environmental Tiptophouse.com on Nov 05, 2014Sounds as though this was a custom job. I would suggest a company such as bath fitters. Perhaps they can make out of mold a insert that will cover the entire thing. Other then that, it will need to be torn out if you want to remove the tile look.Helpful Reply

Colleen on Nov 05, 2014Is there any way you could post a photo to give an idea of what the tub and surrounding area looks like? What is it about it that makes you think 'institutional'? Is it the tub, the tile, or both together? Perhaps you could paint the tile. There are a number of tutorials and posts both here and on the web generally about doing that. What about some simple decorative updates to the area around the tub, such as shelves with baskets, candles, etc? Artwork, a decorative window treatment....lots of ideas but would help to have more specifics from you :)Helpful Reply
