Kate's Polka Dot Headboard

A sweet, fun, and cheerful DIY polka dot tufted headboard for a sweet, and fun, and cheerful little girl!
My polka dot loving daughter, Kate (age 4).
When Kate was 2 & 1/2 I bought her a set of polka dot sheets for her new "big girl bed." She walked into her room, laid her cheek on her fresh set of sheets, stretched her arms across her mattress and said, “I love polka pots…they make me so happy.”
When it came time to make her a headboard, I knew it had to be a multi-colored polka dot headboard - just like those sheets that made her so happy. So I partnered up with OnlineFabricStore.net to find the perfect fabric and notions. I went with a white, lightweight denim (that actually looks and feels more like a twill - I love how durable it is!) and 1-1/8" half ball covers for the DIY fabric covered "polka dots."
I think it’s safe to say she’s happy with it.
