Creating a no mow dry creek garden in front of our new house.
by

(IC: homeowner)
After losing our home last year in the Bastrop Texas wildfire we purchased a new construction house with no existing landscaping. We decided to add a circular driveway, which created a drainage issue in front. To solve this and cut down on the amount of grass in front (we have frequent droughts) I installed a dry creek garden.

Paul D on Sep 07, 2012Hi Judy, first let me say how sorry I am that you lost your home to fire, but hopefully & thanks to god nobody was killed or hurt . Next, I knew just by looking at your beautiful home it was in texas. My friends had a really amazing home built for them in Texas & I guess it has lots of stones there ;)) What an awesome & great looking front yard with no lawn to watch brown-up from lack of rain. Your new home is really beautiful & so clean 7 modern looking. I live in Boston,MA. (Revere Beach) & that home even with our housing crunch would be at least $500.000. Keep the great ideas coming, & enjoy that Harley!!!
