Large, Custom, High End Water Garden, Pond, Waterfall, Rain Water Harvesting, Des Moines, IA, just add water, 5152084099

This project was completed in July of 2012. The water garden contains approximately 20,000 gallons of water. Some of the highlights of the feature include a 4500 gallon holding basin for rain and ground water harvesting, large glacier boulders up to 3000 pounds, 2 large stone bridges, custom cut stepping stones and sitting stones, LED night lighting, multiple waterfall areas, and so much more.
Time: 6 Weeks Cost: $50000-150000 Difficulty: Challenging

    I'm thinking that some of your boulders are closer to 4000-5000 plus! Looks nice!

    Yeah, they do look pretty big but all the boulders were set with my mini excavator, a Bobcat 430. We also had a T300 to help us move them around and assist the mini ex when needed. The boulders did max out my lifting capacity in the mini ex.
