Sassyfox on Mar 18, 2016If you have a container large enough to soak it, you fill the container full of cider vinegar and let it soak. It will remove all the years of tarnish and the brass will be beautiful again! I used this method to clean an antique brass bird cage and it came out beautiful. After soaking rub gently with a scrubbie. If it is years old it may take a couple of soakings to get it back to par.Helpful Reply
