Wonderful Ways With Wallpaper? Which is your favorite?

I love wallpaper, I would put it in my bedroom, office and living room for sure, if I didn't currently live in a rental property ... but I know that it is a big investment and not as easy as paint to "correct" so it was fun to see some more budget conscious designer ways to slip wallpaper into my home.

The original list, courtesy of Farrow & Ball had 10 ideas, but you can check out my favorite 5 in the link below.

Which is your favorite and how have you used wallpaper (big bits or small!) in your home?

In the applications here, I like both of them. I would not want either of these on a wall because we have just recently won the battle of taking down all that was put up in the 80s and 90s! I will NEVER put up another piece as long as I live!!!!!!!!

LOL I remember my parents trying to get wallpaper off the walls when they bought their latest house, it was a lengthy process to say the least and involved some rather unsavory language....

Some of my friends in the UK have had success with the "Paste-the-Wall Wallpaper" by Graham & Brown, they say it comes off easily?! Has any one tried this successfully?

No, and I NEVER WILL! I do not even want to look at wallpaper! For crafts, lining drawers it is fine, but not walls!

I love wallpaper too, Helena. I live in an apartment, and hope to move soon, so I will save that money for my own place. Finally, at 53, my own place. LOL I mean my own private space.

I am going to check those design ideas and put the good ones in my book "My House". :) I want to be ready when I get a place.

Oh, wallpaper is tough too handle, and remove. But, when some of it looks good, or just comes ...»

out even, I felt pretty good.

I need the blog about buying a house. Start the process athe beginning.

    Thanks, Beth

Hi Beth, I am so excited that you are saving for your own place next year... and I love that you are collecting ideas - I have a folder bulging with inspiration I would like to use...my home would have to have 30 rooms just to try everything... but I will be using wallpaper!
