I'm planning on doing this to an old wood headboard that I've had in my garage..love the buttons, but know think I could do that with wood..? -
I think you could, if you can drill a hole through the wood. As long as you can drill a hole through the wood and you put foam and batting on the front of it...the foam is what creates the tufting and you'll just need the holes to pull the string through that holds the button on. It should work.
