How to Make Bottle Garland

There are so many garland ideas around. I saw an idea for a bottle garland on Antique Farm House and decided to make one for myself. This is an inexpensive garland to make.
You will need to find or purchase a few small bottles. You can find them at garage sales, Goodwill or you may have them around your house.
Small bottles with ridged tops work best. Next make your own twisted wire hangers.
Once I had the twisted wire made, I placed the three bottles in place and then wrapped the wire around each bottle.
After each bottle was wrapped, I added metal leaves and fresh plumbago flowers.
My bottles were small so a light wire was adequate. If you use a larger bottle, you may need to use a heavier wire. Also, remember that the bottles will be heavier when you fill the with water. I used only three bottles, but you could use more.
In this picture, I added some bougainvillea. Add whatever flowers are in season or you can add artificial flowers if you want.
