Shared Big Boy Room Makeover

I participated in the One Room Challenge with a bunch of other bloggers, and basically transformed ONE room in 5 short weeks! We choose to makeover my two boys' shared bedroom. They are 2 and 4, one in a crib, one in a 'big boy' bed, and here's the result:
Our color scheme was white, grey, navy, and orange. We painted all the walls white except the one navy herringbone accent wall.
I added a vintage motorcycle print and some 'puppy dog' tails for hooks in the entry way.
We got a great deal on that light fixture, and it is one of my favorite pieces of the room!
My four year old's big boy bed with fun polka dot bedding and a book rail (which is both useful AND decorative).
Some fun throw pillows make a fun addition to the room and remind us of our favorite song that we sing together.
For this makeover, we also ripped up the carpet to reveal some wood floors in a bit of rough shape. To fit our style and desired 'look' of the room, we whitewashed them, and couldn't be happier with how they turned out!
And back to the accent wall that totally makes the room ...
Here's the before ... lots and lots and lots of beige, baby blue, and baby animals (and really bad carpet):
And here's the after one more time ...
