Dollar Tree Pumpkins Get A Glitter Makeover

Easy
Don't you ever feel like you need that hint of glam in your fall decor? How about an easy inexpensive way to get gorgeous glittery pumpkins! Can you believe these are the pumpkins from the Dollar Tree that you can carve?
The first thing I did was to snap off that little stem. Then I picked some paint to spray paint each one. I wanted some fall colors so I decided on gold, green, and copper. Once they spray paint was dried I piled on different glitters. I picked glitter that I thought would look good on each pumpkin color. Then I used everything from coarse to fine glitter. I put Mod Podge on the pumpkin and layer one of glitter. Once that was dried I added more Mod Podge and then layer two of glitter. I just kept going until they looked like I wanted. Then I glued a stick in the top for the stem.
Here is what you start with. This pumpkin that can be carved from Dollar Tree.
Here is the Copper one.
Here is the Gold one.
Here is the Green one.
Who knew $1 pumpkins could look this glamorous. Never under estimate the power of dollar, a little time, and a little creativity.
