Thanks Yair and Lisa!! Maintenance involves a spring clean-out each season or every other year at $365.00. There are some additional items like bacteria that needs to be added also. These cost are minimal. They are very low maintenance indeed! Spring clean-outs can be done yourself too with a pump and power washer. It has some basic information and how to on the spring clean-out. You can also pump it entirely down, relocate fish to an aerated tub during clean-out, carefully power wash stones, fill, treat, and then acclimate the fish slowly to their clean pond. That's it!
Its beautiful I want one after I downsize. The $ includes everything but the fish? Also, what do you mean adding bacteria, is this healthy bacteria needed to keep the pond ph level right? Does one need to check ph frequently?
Sorry I took so long to reply NC! Thanks for the compliment! Yes the $ is everything but the fish, aquatic and landscape plantings. It is a healthy bacteria added to break down organic waste and fish waste. We rarely check the ph since a healthy eco-system takes care of itself fo the most part.
