Wall Shelf (looks Like a Downsized Table--but is It?)
by

I have always wanted to cut down a coffee table to make a wall shelf coat rack. I've never quite found the perfect victim. A coffee table has 3 components--top, legs, and skirt (side). I had all of the above in my stash.
I LOVE this latest creation. It is so pretty, and it was so fun, quick and easy to make out of parts I had around the house. Is it a repurposed table? noooooo
These are some left over bed legs that I needed to cut down on the miter saw. Be sure to remove the metal pins before EVERY attempting to saw bed legs. I did some tap, tap, tap to move the pins near the edge so I could grab them with my pliers.
I actually made 2 of these shelves, and I can't wait to make more. I have lots and lots of spare parts and scrap lumber in my stash.
Enjoyed the project?
