Our Sugar Plum Pink Champagne Christmas

This year I added blush pink bulbs to our silver and mercury glass ornaments and love the "sugar plum" fairy effect:) I know I'm early.. but we are long past Thanksgiving in Canada, so here's a little holiday inspiration for those of you who put up trees. xx
We had a difficult decision to make last week. We have had the same Christmas Tree since moving into this home about 14 years ago. It has served us well, sparkling in the wee morning hours while we sip our coffee and read the paper and did our homework.
It sheltered our family dog, Lucky, while he napped and last year our new puppy, Bella, slept under her boughs.
But seasons bring change, strands had begun to burn out and the decision was made for us. I am far too attached to some things, I have to admit that letting go of our tree felt a bit like breaking-up, lol.
How important is your Christmas tree for your family? I'm thinking of putting up a second one with both of my grown kids' kindergarten ornaments:D ating

Beautiful pictures. Makes me so excited for Christmas! Christmas is my favorite Holiday because its a chance to slow down, spend time and give gifts with my family. :)
