A School Garden Where Inspiration Grows
by
Douglas Hunt
(IC: professional)
I was exploring Seaside, a planned community on Florida's panhandle, when I came across this amazing garden at the local school. All the color almost made me forget that it was an unseasonably raw, cold day. There were so many ideas I want to steal, I hardly know where to start.
A sign sets the tone for this colorful, creative garden.
Styrofoam tower planters filled with tasty greens.
Artful message-making.
Creativity happens here.
Kale and zinnias.
Got boring pots? Paint them!
Fill a wheelbarrow with color.
Boring fence posts be gone!
No plain labels for this garden.
Tea time!
