Kitchen transformation from white to chocolate cabinets.

I bought the Rustoleum 200 sq. ft. kit for $149 at lowes. It was hard scrubbing to degloss everything but worth it. Set up places in garage and did a little at a time. Good drying time between base coats but the glaze takes a long time to dry and so does the top protective coat. If you leave glaze on to long and wipe it off with the cheese cloth too hard it will take some of the paint off but I like the effect. It was sure cheaper than new cabinets. New counter tops to come later on.

Nice! I recently got the bug to do something about my oak cabinets. (but it will be years before I act). I like them both ways, but I am also leaning towards a brown.

Thanks Becky. We smoke so we were having to wash the white to get the color off. Now we won't see it.
