DIY lighting

Adrianne C on Nov 16, 2014One of my beefs about salons is the lighting! It seems there is always fluorescent fixtures on the ceilings creating a light that isn't warm and inviting! Makes one appear pale and not particularly healthy. What about LED's? Even old fashioned incandescent is better than fluorescent!Helpful Reply

The Garden Frog with C Renee on Nov 16, 2014Go for LED! I am telling you that you will wonder why you never did before. Check out Lowe's and Home Depot for lightbulbs and even kits to turn recessed lighting into LED. I did this in my kitchen and I cannot believe I did not do this sooner! Of course it is an expense but the lighting is so much better. I will never use the other light bulbs again! I tried daylight which WHOA is just like daylight and it is bright and more like natural light. I also have warm light. I promise you will be surprised. good luckHelpful Reply
