Kitchen cabinet doors

We recently refurbished our kitchen cabinets and they look awesome. The only problem is the pantry doors are extremly tight now and can only be shut if you shut them together. We have tried to adjust the hinges but have had little success. Any suggestions?

You might need to plane off a little on the edge of the doors.

Thanks Darla. I was a little reluctant to try that as the cabinets are actually laminate. I might have to give it a shot though!

Were they labeled?? Could you have possibly hung them on the wrong side (and upside down)?? That is, the right door on the left and visa versa??

Check the hinges. They may need to be adjusted. but try the above suggestion first.

It might be as simple as a little left over stripper or finish where the doors meet. Take a rag wrapped around a tiny screwdriver to clean out the overlap lip or adjoining edge. I would do that before trying to trim laminated wood.
