Everyone on Hometalk talks about Annie Sloan Chalk Paint. Where can you purchase it in the U.S.? Specifically Alaska?

There are a ton of great recipes for homemade chalk paint on hometalk: http://www.hometalk.com/search/posts?filter=chalk+paint+recipe You can also try your local Michaels, they have Martha Stewart Chalk Paint. I know these aren't Annie Sloan Chalk Paint but they may be helpful as well.

According to this website, it does not appear there are any retail shops in Alaska selling Annie Sloan. http://www.unfolded.com/retailers However, you can put your zip code in and see if the search turns up something that isn't shown on the map. Many retailers will ship but those quart paint cans of paint are heavy and shipping costs will likely significantly increase the cost of the already expensive paint. As Shira mentioned, one alternative is using one of the many homemade recipes available here on HomeTalk, Pinterest etc. Another possibility is trying to find someone who locally sells another commercial brand of chalk paint. Finally, one last suggestion... have you considered using Miss Mustard Seed's milk paint? I, personally, like it better than Annie Sloan chalk paint.
