Create a new look for just pennies! These faux wrought iron pieces are actually made of toilet paper tubes! Tutorial and free patterns are on my site.
A basic frame was created using balsa wood and then filled in with curled strips of toilet paper tubes.
The entire project was then spray painted with wrought iron look paint.

Kathrine Connery on Sep 05, 2016Susan, I previously posted saying how amazing this is and that I'd have to steal the idea..... I just wanted you to know that I've just posted a project that was inspired by your post. It'seems entitled: 'Whoa, now that's a door'. If you want to check out what I've done. Thanks again for the inspiration.
