Why are my posts getting renamed?
-
Yair Spolter on Nov 18, 2014Hi, Thanks for reaching out. Hometalk does not change anything in the content that you post. Your post will still appear exactly as you submitted it, and will be found by anyone searching for it. When you submit a post, Hometalk creates a unique url (web address) for that post. Instead of creating some random url (like www.hometalk.com/post/x1z4yf9) we try to make it SEO-friendly, meaning that it should appear for people who are searching for relevant topics on Google. Our SEO department is constantly researching the best url practices and optimizes each post's url based on what will get the most organic traffic. If you'd like to discuss this further, please feel free to be in touch with me. My personal email is yair@hometalk.comHelpful Reply
