Mr. Brown's Christmas Tree

We are having a junky Christmas this year. Decorating with things gathered around the house. Mr. Brown's Christmas tree is the first in a series of Christmas Decorating Ideas. It was inspired by my spindle tree from last Christmas. How are you going to decorate this holiday season? Plus I included some woodworking tips on the website.
Working on assembling Mr. Brown's Christmas tree. A piece of this and a little of that and a hammer!
I added Mr. Brown's Christmas tree to the faux mantel I made from wood scraps.
Here's a close up of the tree. It's done and there's still junk leftover. Hum, what to make next. Any ideas??

D. on Oct 21, 2015I love, love, Mr.Browns Christmas Tree. I just found another piece of junk ( a treasure ) that i can use to create a tree similar to Mr. Brown's, but, I'm certain it won't come close to this stellar tree. I would like to add small TWINKLING LIGHTS(LED). Small lights would truly show case your creation. To all you great minds: never call your finds junk! I wouldn't want to have to put out the big dollars for this treasure from an over priced big box store. Thanks : )
