Thrift Store Pan in Christmas Magnetic Chalkboard

If you are like me, you’ve bought lots of special shape cake pans over the years, used them once, and then they took up space in your cabinet for the next 5 years, until you finally donated them. I’ve had heart-shaped pans, Winnie-the-Pooh, a ladybug, and the ones shaped like the bottom of a dress for a Barbie doll cake.
Do I still have any of those pans? Nope…they all either were sold in a yard sale, or got donated. But, when I came across an old Christmas tree shaped pan at a thrift store, I still couldn't resist bringing it home - determined that I'd do something other bake a cake with it. Instead, I turned it into an cute little magnetic chalkboard, that is perfect for holding a Christmas recipe card while you are baking.
And I created a vintage style recipe card to write my recipes on as well. So don't put those shaped pans in your next yard sale - turn them into a decorative kitchen chalkboard instead.
