Painting a sink

Lucid Designs on Nov 24, 2014I highly recommend hiring someone for this job, especially if this is in a bathroom with no ventilation. I've known a few people, pros included, who have ended up in the hospital doing this. But yes, porcelain and cast iron sinks can be painted. You have to paint the entire thing after some extensive prep. The paint used is automotive body paint, which is highly toxic.Helpful Reply
