Rustic Trees and Junky Snowmen Shelf Decor

I typically use a lot of color in my decorating,e specially for the holidays. But I decided to go natural with some rustic trees and junky snowmen to decorate my rust and pallet wood shelf.
I first added a burlap-backed window frame as a back drop. Then I painted some scrap wood with the word "SNOW" to use in the rusty bins on my shelf.
I then took an insulator, a block of wood and an old glass jar and added twine to turn the pieces into junky snowmen.
I created a twig tree with just a drill, some wood glue and twine.
Then I added a simple tree made from a piece of scrap wood and a building block and another easy tree with fun find from a garage sale.
I added a simple garland on the window made from twine, vintage buttons and small snowflake ornaments.
