So, even though it’s not even Thanksgiving yet, I couldn’t help but jump on board for a little handmade Christmas ornament blog hop that a group of bloggers and I ran. I had a blast making this ornament and I can honestly say that I think it’s the first time I’ve made a Christmas ornament since I was in grade school.

I snagged one of these cute little wooden cut-out deer head ornaments from the craft store and thought I could jazz it up a little by painting it and adding a cute ribbon.

I spray painted the deer head with copper spray paint and then added a navy colored satin ribbon to hang it from.

I love how simple this ornament was to make but it's still so cute hanging from the tree. I'm thinking of making a few more; maybe even with different colored paint and other cute ribbons. The possibilities are endless!
