Decorating With Sticks and Leaves

Today I took a walk around my yard with my clippers and gathered herbs, sticks, leaves, and dried Hydrangea. I hauled it all into my house and used it to create some fun fall decor. So fun to use things from nature that are right outside the back door to make the inside look like the season outside!
Simply adding some sticks or branches from the yard can add instant fall decor to your home.
Leaves just starting to turn from green to yellow suggest that fall is in the air!
I created a bit of 3D art by using some rope knots and tucking in sticks, leaves, and herbs until I liked the look I had created. It is hanging in the wall with string.
Antlers can be used in decor year round but somehow I think they go best with fall decor!
A faux acorn and a bit of rosemary from the herb garden, tucked under a cloche speaks of the season change.
Dried hydrangea along with whatever other vegetation I could find in the yard created a huge fall bouquet.
Ultimately, your decor should make you smile and feel happy. These touches of fall do that for me so I feel it was a success!
