Gorgeous. Saved it to study it closer. -
Thanks, Ellen! This is a pinecone wreath that I glued my Dad's handcarved songbirds on. Thought that dried hydrangeas from our garden would make it look like Fall! -
How lovely! -
So happy you liked my project, Lee Anne! -
Your wreath is beautiful, Barb! I love your dad's handcarved birds- they're gorgeous and make it extra special! -
Thanks, Sheila ~ Dad's carvings were all loose in a box, so I mounted them as a collection on the pinecone wreath and am glad I did! -
Once again, just gorgeous! I love hydrangeas. I have them all around in pots and buckets and baskets. Some folks just don't get it!! Great work, Barb. -
Love a hydrangea, Linda! Any color, variegated or not, fresh or dried! Thanks for writing : ) -
I love it! Thanks for the idea.I have the same hydranga and am going to dry them also. -
To dry them so they keep their shape, I put the stems in a few inches of water mixed with a tablespoon or two of glycerin (from drugstore) and let them sit until the water dries up. There are lots of other ways to dry hydrangea too. If you are on Pinterest, look it up! Have fun, Mickey! -
Oooo, I love that! I don't have any hydrangeas left, sadly. Plenty of pinecones! -
So, this year you make the pinecone wreath and next year you dry the hydrangeas, Anita : ) -
