Why try to hide the concrete block walls? I would go with it and I have. Industrial decorating is really nice. I had a detached garage built on the back of my lot and no longer needed to use the garage that is attached to the house as a garage. This room is now my office/ grandkids play room. I love it! I sanded the block walls to give it a little smoother look and painted. I wouldn’t even consider drywall! I had the floor painted in epoxy, the marble look. Had vented for HVAC. Hung shelves, photos, etc. it’s a fun room!
