Organized Cluttered Rustic Crate Christmas Mantel

My favorite kind of Christmas mantel is rustic and jam packed with fun and festive vintage items. This year I gathered old crates for the framework, and then created several mini vignettes within one large vignette.
I started my rustic Christmas mantel with five rustic crates. Then simply completed five small Christmas vignettes within the whole mantel vignette.
Vintage Bingo button cards that I made earlier this year and also shared on Hometalk tucked into one of the crates perfectly.
Vintage thermoses are a perfect winter/Christmas decor item.
Vintage lunch boxes, greenery, a rustic deer, and lanterns round out my rustic Christmas mantel.
So gather your vintage red decor, some Christmas greenery, and crates and put together some fun rustic vignettes!

Louise Adkins on Dec 18, 2015Love the crates. Crates are expensive where I live and I'm too lazy to do them myself although I do have one that I need to finish. :)
