How to make tile coasters with photos

Leah M on Dec 03, 2014Modge podge normally won't be affected by water after it dries. Might want to test it before you commit the photos/tiles to the effect. Don't forget to put felt on the back!Helpful Reply

9530106 on Dec 03, 2014Outdoor Modpodge (yes, there is such a thing) is the only one WATERPROOF after it dries. Regular MP is not. I would seal either one to be on the safe side. I just used a spray lacquer on a project, and it worked great. Also, if you print with an inkjet printer, the ink will likely smear. I usually just get laser prints made off. They are cheap, and do not smear!Helpful Reply

Lori on Dec 13, 2014I have done this with pictures of dogs I cut from a calendar with some success. I believe where I failed was not top coating enough which I would do at least 3 times next time. Outdoor Modpodge sounds good.Helpful Reply
