My new rustic Christmas tree
I just bought this new tree, thinking that it would look great all dressed in rustic items, but now that it's here I'm at a loss on how to decorate the Christmas tree. I have burlap and raffia, antique ornaments and white lights. Help! Thanks for any and all advice.

At Walmart in the ornament section they have some very rustic small animal ornaments, deer and owls to mention a few. If my memory serves me right, they are made of little twigs. I bought some owl ones last year they are precious in a green tree with clear lights., They have different animals as well as other little rustic designs.
As is, the tree is beautiful. But you could make poinsettia out of burlap and the leaves out of sheet music paper, embellishing with glitter on the edges.
