Decorating With Dried Seed Pods
by

One of the things I inherited from my mom was the love of nature and gardening. For as long as I can remember my mother would put together simple flower arrangements during the holidays using evergreens and dried seed pods which she had collected during the summer and then spray painted with gold paint.
Dried seed pods are beautiful as they are.
When you spray the seed pods with gold spray paint they become elegant.
With a few simple items you can create beautiful decorations for your home this holiday season. Collect some evergreens, a few bowls and your clippers.
In no time at all you can have beautiful arrangements in your home.
Decorate your home this holiday season with these simple arrangements.

Mariana Greene on Dec 08, 2014You can buy flower frogs at craft stores still. You also can usually find them in antique malls and at flea markets. Definitely online. More elegant flower frogs are glazed pottery versions from arts and crafts era. But they are collectible and therefore cost more than the spiky versions.
