I have the same problem. The company came and used super glue then taped the area tightly. The next day I removed the tape and they were fine. My problem now is warping laminate above where I used a water boiler! They said I need to replace the door, can't fix the laminate. Well, they lasted ten years. I wonder if I can remove all the laminate and redo the cabinets with chalk paint?

Thank you Joan. My cabinets are also 10 to 11 years old . This cabinet that separated is right next to the stove.I've wondered myself if the cooking and resulting heat caused the laminate to warp. Do you mind if I ask how much you were charged? As much as I was charged for the cabinets countertops etc, I think they should last a MUCH longer time.

The company didn't charge anything to repair the cabinets. But, more and more laminate is coming loose. Yes, the cabinet near my stove also has loose laminate. Live and learn!
