Melting Faux Snow Texture

I love to experiment with textures and faux techniques and faux snow is not exception. The fluffy type faux snow is oh so pretty, but this faux snow technique has a melting snow appearance and might be a good technique to use on the roof tops of crafty holiday birdhouses and that sort of thing.
The recipe is simply a mix of
I tested mine out on some soup cans, some painted, some not.
My first batch was a bit too drippy (as in this picture), so I thickened it up with more baking soda and glue.

Gloria Stitt on Dec 14, 2014Would this work on glass jars? It would be pretty and then put a light inside. I think I may try this on picture frames.
