I made this simple wreath from a few things laying around the house. The kitchen has it's own brand of Christmas decor!
It took just minutes to make this wreath from Mason Jar bands.
I started with 2 dozen large Mason Jar bands, some floral wire, newspaper, wired tartan ribbon, dried chili peppers and greenery. Using 14" of wire, I slipped the bands over the wire and stuffed them with rolled up newspapers to give them a wreath-like shape. Then I secured the wire at the top.
I tied a generous bow at the top of the wreath, leaving extra long ribbon tails which were threaded through every 2nd band. The ends of the ribbon were tucked in at the bottom of the wreath.
The last step was to wire a bunch of dried chili peppers at the top of the wreath, then add the sprigs of greenery. You could also add some fresh or dried herbs to the wreath.

Sarah Tabor on Dec 20, 2014Where did you get all the jar rings? I can't find just the rings. I can find just the inside for sealing the rings.
