Hanging a Wreath Without Drilling Holes!

How do you hang a fairly heavy wreath without putting a nail in the door or drilling holes in walls - but still have your wreath looking like something from Pinterest? Read on!
First of all you will need an over the door hanger which I got from ACE, but I'm sure any hardware store will sell them :)
Mine looked like this, if it is too small for your door, simply bang it out with a hammer or mallet, then place it over a solid surface and bend it back into a bigger U bend
Using an old curtain hook and some ribbon you will have to get handy with a needle and thread! (you could glue or staple it, but it might not hold the weight!)
Wrapping the ribbon around both the wreath and curtain hook (don't forget the hook here as you can't add it later!)
My terrible sewing skills! Don't worry you cant see it once its up and hanging :-)
Finally hang the curtain hook from the door hook making sure the sticky out bit of the curtain hook is inside, and your sewed part it behind the wreath! It took me 10 mins total, plus another 10 mins deciding which ornament to sellotape over the metal part which was showing. (I could have spray painted it black if I was really bothered).
Here it is on my mirror in my front room :-) You can see my full post about it here: http://thedesertrosedubai.blogspot.ae/2014/12/hanging-christmas-wreath.html
And same technique but different ribbon colour on my front door! You can't see the metal hook on the door, luckily as I think an ornament may have looked a little wierd haha

You could use a large safety pin instead of sewing the ribbon together, or even stitch some Velcro to close it. That would make it easier to change out the curtain hook if you want a different one later, or to use with different wreaths.
