35 Minutes
Easy
Create beautiful & custom napkin rings inexpensively & easily. Use inexpensive wood ornaments found at most craft stores, paint them in your favorite colors and add floral wire rings. Takes less than 35 mins to make! Fun project to do with kids as well, but leave the epoxy duties for the adults. Create your own holiday napkin rings inexpensively & easily!
I used wood ornaments found at my craft store on sale for less than $0.60 each, snip off the hanger and prepare to paint. So many different ornaments you could use, mix & match or create for other holidays too!
I chose to use a gold acrylic paint for mine but you could use any color combination and top off with a glitter paint as well for some pretty sparkle.
I paint on wax paper so the wood ornaments don't stick as they dry...makes it a bit easier. I painted both sides with 2 coats of paint which dries super quick.
After the ornaments are dry, use a 12 gauge floral wire (I used gold but they come in other colors too) to create the ring part of the project. Then attach with a 5-minute epoxy which should be done by an adult for safety reasons. (More details on blog how I did this)
After they've dried you are done...TA-DA! Easy, beautiful and ready for the holidays!

What a great tip about the wax paper. So smart and so pretty. I can just see in white or silver with the german glitter on them. Can't wait to get started. Thanks Suzanne for a great inexpensive craft or gift idea. Merry Christmas :D
