Yard sale's and thrift stores are a great place to hunt for home decor for less. Thankfully, my dad also loves a good hunt and frequently visits yard sales as much as he can. About a year ago he picked up a cute little jewelry box full of kids jewelry for my daughter. It was cute while she was a baby, but as she got older I knew her jewelry box wood need an update.
I started by removing the flower pulls and painted the exterior in a fun mint green.
The drawer fronts got updated with black polka dot scrapbook paper while the drawers got painted coral.
