What to use to clean very stained plastic covered shower insert floors

I live in a modular home, the plastic coated shower and floor inserts are horrible! I can't get them cleaned, I've used everything I could think of including DIY ideas but nothing takes the grunge and slimy soap off the walls or floor....HELP, I need ideas. I'm putting it up for sale and this has to be sparkling clean.

Have you tried warmed vinegar and dawn? Warm it in microwave and then spray it down really good--wait ten minutes --scrubb,rinse.

I also recommend filling a spray bottle 1/2 full with white vinegar, heat it in the microwave then fill the rest of the bottle with Blue Dawn. Spray and let sit for several minutes. I use it to clean the toilets, bathroom fixtures, floor, just about anything you can spray liquid on. I'll never buy harsh chemicals to clean with again.

I just had to do this same thing to our tub/shower the other day. I had tried the vinegar and Dawn mix, which worked beautifully on the other shower, but for some reason not so great in the tub/shower. I used ZEP Cleaner and Degreaser. I sprayed it on and let it sit After awhile I sprayed it again to re-wet it and used a large bristle brush scrubber to scrub in a circular motion. It broke it up great! I didn't have to break my elbows scrubbing. It completely cleaned the grime out of the tub and made it look great.

The only thing that works for me is ZEP Citrus cleaner. I spray a liberal amount on the shower floor, and scrub it in with a medium bristle scrub brush. I wipe most of that off, and apply a 2nd coat, scrub it in, making sure that the whole floor has a good amount of the cleaner over it. Then I let it sit for about 15-20 minutes, or up to an hour. Come back, use your brush one more time, then rinse it off. VERY IMPORTANT...wash off the residue with soap and water, to avoid slipping, as the citrus cleaner is very oily. The floor will be completely clean! PS. I didn't try the vinegar and Dawn formula, but I've tried Comet, bleach, and other household cleaners and nothing else worked for me.

Have you tried original Dawn dish soap (just a squirt) and vinegar? You can also try blasting it off with baking soda and vinegar. It will foam like a volcano but cleans very well.

At worst you may have to buy a commercial cleaner from a home improvement store. I had to do that once in a manufactured home I moved into. Forwarned the chemicals are stinky and strong. I would try the dawn and vinegar first.

Take it out-go to Home Depot or Lowe's and buy a metal one like it. They are real inexpensive. Home Depot has the best price.

Thank you everyone for your responses. Now I have to dig my way out to get to the car. We got almost a foot of snow 2 days ago......I hate snow..........I hate black ice....I hope ZEP does the job, I will have to buy 2 big bottles to clean the 2 bathrooms. Hope it works!
