I came up with this idea for my daughter's Cornish Fairy party, but I've used it for Halloween and Christmas events, too. Fairy magic, a witchy spell, or enchanting Christmas twinkle lights--all you need is one simple thing.
Submersible floral lights! These are designed to go in water filled vases, and are used by florists to add some light to centerpieces. But they work just as well in punch dispensers!
The only drawback? One little girl was mightily disappointed that the magical light didn't dispense into her cup.
