Water damage on sub floors! What to do?
We do not see any mold, even under the sink cabinet the sub floors look dry.
What do we do in this situation?
Replace sub flooring? Or put new plywood on top?
Thank you all!

Sue Myers Case on Dec 19, 2014replace anything rotted as Rishia said, water stains are ok. best to rip up and just replace the subfloors. If there is water stains there could also be swelling of the wood which will make it harder to level out.Helpful Reply

Diana Deiley on Mar 26, 2016Better safe than sorry. Replace it. You'll be happy that you did it right the first time, and you'll save yourself heartache and money at the same time. Best of luck. p.s. Great question.Helpful Reply
