How to DIY lazy susans?

Lori on Dec 20, 2014I'm sure they must sell the mechanism at building stores etc. and then you must have something around the house to use for the top. Look in thrift store, I see them all the time and even if it's the wrong size take the top off and you have the mechanism for cheap.Helpful Reply

Shari on Dec 20, 2014I suspect it will cost more than $5 to purchase the rotating mechanism alone. For not much more than $5, you can purchase Lazy Susan/turntable at Bed, Bath & Beyond and save yourself the hassle of making your own. The 12 inch Copco brand ($7.99) is what I use in my refrigerator for condiments and the pantry for spices. Some of the plastic Lazy Susan's don't rotate smoothly once they get some weight on them. This one does. http://www.bedbathandbeyond.com/store/product/copco-12-inch-non-skid-turntable/1010932270?poc=100703Helpful Reply
