What a neat idea! It looks like the real thing. Your house is beautiful!

WONDER IFCAN USE COPPER COLOR PAINT ON THOSE RED TERRA COTTA POTS THAT GO OUTSIDE. -
But how well does it hold up? -
Really adds alot to this house -
Wow, great job, it really looks fabulous and totally fooled me!!! Great project. -
Rose S - It's held up pretty well. If you click on the link you can see how the fixtures look like after 3 months of using the Martha Stewart Copper Gilding paint vs. the Rustolem Metallic copper pain. All the neighbors thought it was the real deal. ;) -
Thanks for the 'heads up', they do look great after all that time. Might just have to try it, since I love the copper look. Will someone then be tempted to steal my mailbox? They have been 'looting' copper left and right in our area. :-) -
Haha, well if they do Rose S, at least they will just be stealing an inexpensive mailbox and not the real deal! Hopefully they will be smart enough to open it and instantly see it's not copper. -
You're copper lights look amazingly real and your radio cabinet hamper is such a nifty idea. Does anybody say nifty anymore besides me? Hmmm. Hoping the best for you and yours in 2013. Gabriel
