      @Karen Fedorchak I've been obsessed with this for a while, too, so forgive me for jumping in on someone else's post. You can find a variety of paintable wallpapers -- beadboard, old embossed ceiling tile patterns, rough stucco texture, etc. -- at places like Lowes and Home Depot nowadays. A company named Graham and Brown used to be one of the only sources. Can't wait to try it in the bathroom reno I have in the works!

    I love this. I just did the same thing in one of my bathrooms and around my kitchen island and it looks so nice. I did have seal the paper on the island so it wouldn't get damaged.
