Some of My Recent Restorations
by
BoL furnitures
(IC: homeowner)
Some recent restorations, taking old tired and unloved furniture and giving it a new purpose again.
With decorating my own living room the fireplace needed a makeover too. So from dark and lifeless,
to light bright and fabulous. Since I did mine I've now restored 7 for customers who are over the moon with the result.
This was for a customer which I fell in love so I recreated for my own house.
From another angle. Just stunning!
A Dutch dresser brought back to life.
Now right at home at my customers country kitchen.
I did this piece and my next door neighbour fell in love with it, buying it before I'd even finished it, which meant that she had to redecorate her living room. Quite a compliment I think.
These match the bookcase which were also snapped up pretty quickly.
Looking forward to 2015 and some more fab restoration projects.

Carole on Dec 28, 2014Love the paper/fabric? you used in all of these pieces. Isn't it great when someone you know wants to buy your work! A friend of mine bought a chair I made over for her bedroom and it is nice to think this chair is sitting in her house. She has made me a couple of quilts over the years, one was a gift, the other one I commissioned from her and we use it on our bed,so now we each have something the other created in our homes.
