DIY Antler Jewelry Holder

We are in the process of redecorating my daughter's room. One thing she needed was organized jewelry storage.
I had this piece of wood in the garage and I painted it a rustic yellow color.
Then, I took some wood shapes I had and Modge Podged some pretty scrapbook paper to them and strung them on some twine.
Then, I screwed the antlers onto the painted board. After that, I hung the wooden banner on made on top of the board. This added a little "girly" flame to the holder.
My daughter loves seeing all her jewelry hung up and I love that she is not coming to me to entangle a necklace that she wants to wear!

Lori on Dec 30, 2014Really cute Lindsay. I was thinking, if you drilled tiny holes in the wood circles, she could put earrings there. It might be hard to do with the paper on it but paint would work. I don't know anything about antlers but gold tips would look pretty. Just a thought. :)

Lindsay Eidahl on Dec 30, 2014@Lori That would look cute. She does not have her ears pierced so I don't have to worry about earrings just yet. It is funny because I have never had my ears pierced and she talks about maybe getting them some day or maybe not and being like mom. ;-)
