Panel ready dishwasher dilemma

My dishwasher died. The new panel ready dishwashers have a different configuration for cabinet fronts & the cabinet manufacturer no longer makes these cabinets. I'm wondering if I can use the old cabinet front on a new model if I piece it together. Appreciate suggestions!

I found a nice contact paper to cover the front of dishwasher

My mother, who used to be a kitchen designer, says there's a distinct possibility that piecing the old front to fit the new front just might work. If you have pictures of both new and old, it would really help.
